Hillary definitely feels she was “called” to be a doula. As she and her husband tried to conceive she became very interested in all aspects of pregnancy and childbirth. One month after suffering a miscarriage she experienced an amazing 15 hour labor and delivery with one of her closest friends. The birthing mother’s husband was deployed and Hillary’s instincts kicked in as she comforted her friend through the entire process of a non-medicated normal birth while holding a laptop to "Skype” with the Dad. I didn't realize I was acting as a "doula" until I had a fateful conversation with Melissa.
Hillary is very passionate about helping women and their partners and is excited to put all the knowledge she has gained about fertility issues, pregnancy and childbirth to good use as she serves birthing parents.

Hillary is on hiatus as she just welcomed a baby of her own into the Berger home! She will resume in the Spring.
